- Requirements
-
- You need to have the Control Strip Control Panel from Apple Computer and
- the file PPP Commands in the Scripting Additions folder of your Extensions
- Folder of your System Folder. The file PPP Commands is part of the OT/PPP
- distribution. The Control Strip Control Panel is available in System 7.5.3
- and System 7.6. Use the Custom Install option of these systems to install
- this Control Panel.
-
- Note 1: URL Manager module assumes that you want to connect to the Internet
- via OT/PPP by the presence of the file PPP Commands in the Scripting Additions
- folder. If you have a direct connection to the Internet, remove the file
- PPP Commands from the the Scripting Additions folder and store it in another
- place.
-
- Note 2: when checking E-Mail and using Claris Emailer, the module will
- only check your "Internet" account. If you want the module to check your
- other accounts as well, please let me know. I might add that.
-
- Install
-
- Install it by putting it in the Control Strip Modules folder of the
- System Folder. Change the preferences of the URL Manager Module via
- Internet Config. To specify the HTML Editor: add a helper for editor.
